I had been searching for the "right" website that would not only display what my business was about, but more importantly, demonstrate who I was and leave for the audience something that has my individual stamp on it. In other words, I had a vision but the execution was another story. If I was going to show the public about myself and my company, it truly needed to reflect who I was and what I do. Much like an interactive resume. I looked for over 2 years at other real estate agents sites in Los Angeles, Orange County, as well as San Diego. Nothing was very exciting. Frankly, I was surprised how dismal most sites were, especially with the top agents in those areas! I look at websites as not only your business card but your marketing department. A window to what you do as a business. If no one knows anything about you and all they can see is your website, it better be the bridge that gets your prospective customer to pick up the phone and want to work with you. It has to be professional, easy to navigate, have valuable information, and most important, be different!
